Recent FWA Decision Stresses the Importance of a Social Media Policy

Case law is slowly emerging over social media use in the workplace – it’s still slow but we are starting to see some guidance from the courts over this ever changing medium.

Here’s a link  to an article commenting on the latest decision by Fair Work Australia, with some interesting comments on the need for social media policies in the work place and also for employees to be made aware of them. It’s not enough to have a comprehensive policy; you must also ensure that you’re employees are aware of its contents.
